Incubus singer Brandon Boyd arrested at NY Airport

NEW YORK (Incubus Fans Website) - Incubus frontman Brandon Boyd was arrested for carrying a switchblade while boarding a plane at LaGuardia airport in New York on Wednesday.

The singer released a statement saying that the incident was a mistake, and that he had simply forgotten that the knife was in his bag. He says in a statement, "I totally forgot it was at the bottom of my bag, and when the security person pulled it out, I thought, 'Oh, no.'"
Boyd was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, but was permitted to continue on his trip to Raleigh - North Carolina, in time for a planned concert.
