Celeste Stoney Announces Her First Single "My Kinda Crazy"
Los Angeles, CA. (Top40 Charts/ Level Music Entertainment) Seasoned performer and songwriter Celeste Stoney is no stranger to the music business. After being the magic behind the lyrics of many successful songs, Stoney has announced her plans to pursue her own career as a recording artist. Stoney today announced that her highly anticipated single "My Kinda Crazy" from her upcoming EP Chameleon will be available exclusively on her website August 24, 2014, with a commercial release expected in early September.

"I am so excited about my single release. It has been a long time coming," said Stoney. "I have been blessed to work with some amazing people throughout my career. So many of them asked me when I would release something of my own. I finally decided that it was the right time to do this. My songs have big hooks and strong melodies that take you on a ride and make you feel something. I wanted "My Kinda Crazy" to portray that."

Stoney performed for a sold out crowd at the House of Blues on May 31st, impressing both industry figures and music fanatics. She will take the stage once again as the headlining performer on August 24th where she will debut "My Kinda Crazy." Stoney will leave her mark on this venue as one of the last artists to perform before the House of Blues on Sunset's demolition.

Stoney has engaged with top-notch producers in the music industry, such as Dr. Luke's camp, who have produced artists, Katy Perry, Britney Spears, Kelly Clarkson, and other Grammy Award winning artists. Starting from Def Jam/Murder Inc. Records, she has earned a Platinum Record as a songwriter and singer for Ja Rule's "Murder Reigns." She co-wrote and was a featured artist on Foxy Brown's single "I Need a Man." Stoney also topped the charts in the UK with the single "Bad Girl" with rapper Fugitive. Even on screen, Stoney has made her way as an "American Idol" finalist as well as a member of "Making the Band 3."

In 2013, The Music Industry Trade Magazine Amalgamation recognized Stoney as "One to Watch." She earned first place at the 14th Annual USA Songwriting Competition for best R&B song. On any given day you can find Stoney in the studio writing songs for the likes of Grammy Award winning chart topping artists Christina Aguilera, Kelly Clarkson, Rihanna, One Direction, Ariana Grande, Adam Lambert and many more.

This year, Stoney has made a special appearance at the Dynamic Producer's Event at the Los Angeles Film School. Stoney joined Midi Mafia's Bruce Waynne, Timbaland Production's Rachel Assil, Peermusic's Richard Harris, and artist Brittany Barber. Stoney has teamed up with Cash Money's Nicki Minaj, Drake and Lil Wayne's Canadian artist Karine Hannah, writing her first single, "Burning Up," which was released this June. "It's fun to step outside my life and write from someone else perspective, its kind of like acting," said Stoney.
