Mojo Gurus 'Full Throttle Rock 'N' Roll' Out Today!
LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ It's Alive! Media) The Mojo Gurus (www.mojogurus.com) latest release, Who Asked Ya? was released today and are making their presence known from Tampa to Tottenham. The band's sound - high-octane energy of '60's rock and early roots rock with their 'have-a-good-time-all-the-time' vibe - is an infectious combination. This is their first release on Red River Entertainment (Hawthorne Heights, Hugh Cornwell/Stranglers) with distribution through Sony/RED.

The press and radio response to Who Asked Ya? has been nothing but high praise for The Mojo Gurus. With raves from local publications like Creative Loafing as well as public radio station WMNF who presented the bands release party as well as playing tracks on two shows, the UK has also found the bands album infectious. Britain's iconic Classic Rock magazine names "Where You Hidin' You Love" one of the Tracks Of The Week and said, "Who Asked Ya? is a fistful of full-throttle rock 'n' roll of the type Jack Douglas (who the band have worked with in the past) used to make with Aerosmith. Mmmm, greasy."

The first single off Who Asked Ya?, "Where You Hidin' Your Love", is a horn driven, funk rocker that was produced by Tommy Henricksen (Alice Cooper, Lou Reed). The album was recorded at Pro Star Studios in St. Petersburg, FL and mastered by Stephen Marsh (Jeff Beck, Muddy Waters, Ben Harper) at Marsh Mastering in Hollywood, CA. The record features 13 songs, all of which were written by vocalist Kevin Steele.

The critically acclaimed band has released three albums through E One Entertainment, worked with Grammy Award winning producer Jack Douglas (John Lennon, Aerosmith), played with the likes of Joe Perry, Johnny Winter, Blackberry Smoke, David Allan Coe and built their reputation on their live performance. The Mojo Gurus are Kevin Steele on lead vocals and harmonica, Doc Lovett on guitar and vocals, Vinnie Granese on bass and vocals and Sean Doyle on drums and vocals.
