Max Capote Releases His New Album "Aperitivo De Moda"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The crooner of vintage pop, the dandy of rock, the eccentric Uruguayan artist Max Capote, finally released his second album, "Aperitivo de Moda", in the U.S. under the Contrapedal Indie label in association with Intolerancia Records.

This new record that has already been released in South America and Mexico and recently earned two nominations for Uruguay's Graffiti Music Awards explores rhythms of modern music, such as rock, funk, pop, bossa nova, calypso, all infused by Capote's aesthetics. Each song of this outstanding work represents a different element of the waiting room to the most grotesque banquet that is life itself in Capote's view.

Regarding the name of the album that, like his music, has been interpreted using various concepts, Capote states: "this is NOT a conceptual album! I don't have time to think about stupid concepts. The name of this record doesn't mean anything at all!".

Among the tracks on this record that has been produced by Max Capote himself and mastered at the legendary Abbey Road the one called "Desafinado" pays tribute to bossa nova; Capote considers this to be the best song in the world.

Relatively unknown in this country prior to his nomination for the Latin Grammy 12th as "Best New Artist" and his explosive shows at the international music conference SXSW in Texas and the Vive Latino Festival in Mexico in 2013, Max Capote has made a name for himself as one of South America's most relevant artists. His music and shows have been recommended by tens of publications, including Billboard magazine which lists Max Capote as one of "10 Latin Artists to Watch in 2013."

"Aperitivo de moda" is undoubtedly another album without boundaries, just like his preceding record "Chicle", which featured classic tracks such as "Culpable" and "Tema 11", arriving at his best moment, on the tenth anniversary of his career as a recording artist and after successful live concerts in several countries in Europe, Latin America and the United States.
