Amanda Lamb releases her new EP, We Were Here. The four-song EP includes fan favorites, like "We Were Here", the single released earlier this summer, alongside a music video. The EP is now available for download on iTunes.

Amanda Lamb, the EP represents her decision to pursue her dreams of becoming a country artist. "I've always been a country-girl at heart, and this is the first step to accepting who I am and wanting to share my stories," explains Amanda. "I grew up listening to country music." This EP showcases
Amanda coming into her own skin as a musician. She enlisted the help of songwriting giants, Bill Diluigi and Melissa Bollea of Rhyme Partners to collaborate in writing the EP. Together, Diluigi and
Amanda came up with the concept for the EP's second track, "Something in the Blood," her personal homage to people who are living with Type 1 diabetes, a condition that she has dealt with since she was a one year old. "The song is both literal and figurative," says Amanda, "because there is strength, bravery and courage in my blood." The EP's wistful closing track, "
Endless Summer" evokes a vivid panorama of rusted Woodies, shivering palm trees, abandoned surfboards and deserted cottages. "Somewhere the surf's always up," chimes the true California girl.

Amanda Lamb teamed with acclaimed producer, Kent Wells (Dolly Parton and Reba McEntire), who brought the amazing production value to the table. The collection contains feelings of exploration, courage, and heartbreak and features the very talented musicians of Nashville's
Music City. "Nashville has such an appreciation for original music,"
Amanda says of the country music capital, "I just love the vibe and the spirit."
Always looking to improve and refine her talent as a singer,
Amanda works with vocal coach Lis Lewis (Colbie Caillat and Rihanna), and Cathy Lemmon of the Artist Development Network to further herself in her career. She has always been willing to do everything she could to achieve her dreams, and it paid off in 2012, when she was named Best Youth Artist at the
Orange County
Music Awards. Upon the release of the EP's first single, "We Were Here",
