Singer/Songwriter Shae Releases Debut Album 'Can You Feel The Music' Produced By The Legendary Narada Michael Walden
San Rafael, CA (Top40 Charts/ Glass Onyon PR) Tarpan Records, founded by Multi-Platinum producer Narada Michael Walden, is proud to announce the debut release from their new artist Shaeny Johnson, aka Shae. Shae recently signed an exclusive recording contract with Tarpan Records and legendary multi-Grammy winning producer Narada Michael Walden, and is releasing her debut album Can You Feel The Music worldwide both physically and digitally on November 18th 2014, just in time for the holidays. The album is a mix of Singer/Songwriter, Pop, and Dance music, and was recorded at Tarpan Studios in San Rafael, CA. Walden has produced dozens of million-selling albums including hits for superstars like Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Aretha Franklin and Barbra Streisand.

As a lead vocalist, Shae has generated a buzz singing with the Rogue Suspects and touring all over the Pacific Northwest over the past few years. Shae is also the lead singer in Craig Chaquico's (Jefferson Starship) touring band. She has had the honor of playing with some other amazing artists as well, including Jack Johnson, Jeff Peevar, and Jeff Cooper.

Shae was raised in the Pacific Northwest in beautiful Ashland, Oregon. She found her love for the arts early in life and enjoyed many different artistic passions including music, dance, and theater, and went on to study Vocal Performance under Pamela Fry at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. She embraced her training at the Conservatory along with all the critiques and challenges of life. Her desire to grow and continue improving her craft pushed her into major roles in Operatic and Musical Theater productions at SFCM. She has performed in many musical theater productions, including: Once on this Island, Fiddler on the Roof, The Sound of Music, Mame, Anything Goes, Guys and Dolls, Little Shop of Horrors, Into the Woods, Grease, Marvelous Wonerettes, Winter Wonerettes, What a Glorious Feeling, and many more. In 2009, Shae was cast as a teen dancer in The Music Man at the world renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland.

Shae is elated to find herself fully immersed in the professional life of an entertainer. With her skills in many diverse forms of dance including Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Tap, Salsa, and Aerial Silks, her San Francisco Film acting classes with Joie Landeaux, and her Classical Conservatory music education, Shae works in almost every area of the industry she enjoys. Shae continues to perform every weekend at various local venues and private events in Oregon.

Shae will spend the next few months touring to support the release of Can You Feel The Music and will also be performing with both Rogue Suspects and Craig Chaquico. She will play CD release events throughout southern Oregon, California and in other regions.
