LOS ANGELES (Jessica Simpson Fans Website) - US Pop star singer Ashlee Simpson ran into a bit of trouble Saturday night during her musical appearance on Saturady Night Live. Her first performance featured her hit single "Pieces of Me" and it went off without a hitch - but things didn't go over so well during her second performance.

The wrong music came on during Simpson's second perfromance...and worst off you could hear the lyrics dubbed in. The whole mishap made Simpson a bit embarrassed so she danced around a bit and then walked off the SNL stage.
Her band continued to play but Simpson blames the band for the mix-up, "I feel so bad my band started playing the wrong song and I didn't know what to do so I thought I'd do a hoe-down- I'm sorry."
There has been no official comment from NBC about the incident.
