(Launch) - Jane's Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro recently released his solo album, "Trust No One." At one point the title was earmarked for a book he was working on with New York Times reporter Neil Strauss. The book, originally scheduled for release this month, is now on hold and publisher HarperCollins has halted distribution of advance copies of the tome, now titled "Don't Try This At Home: A Year in the Life of Dave Navarro." Navarro recently re-read the book - which the publisher had hoped to release simultaneously with "Trust No One" - and noticed that some of the tales of drug abuse, sex and over-the-top behavior might be hurtful to family and friends. Now Navarro wants to do another edit on the book, and the publisher has reluctantly agreed to hold its release, as lawyers sort out the details of when "Don't Try This At Home" will hit bookshelves.
