Hip hop sensation Xzibit will host the 11th annual MTV Europe Music Awards, while R&B superstar Alicia Keys will join previously announced performer Usher for a European exclusive performance. Italian singer-songwriter Tiziano Ferro will also take to the stage for the MTV Europe Music Awards 2004.
Legendary west coast rapper Xzibit has conquered the hip-hop world in the course of his short career. His big break came with the release of his first solo album "At the Speed of Life" which spawned the successful single "Paparazzi". He consolidated his early success with critical and commercial smash albums Restless and Man vs. Machine which have produced a string of hit singles. Xzibit was propelled to worldwide stardom as the celebrated host of MTV's Pimp My Ride, one of MTV's highest rating global shows. Xzibit is set to bring his trademark style and funkylicious personality to the job of hosting the MTV Europe Music Awards 2004.
Alicia Keys will join Usher for electrifying performance of their duet My Boo at the 11th annual Awards. Still in her early twenties, Alicia Keys has conquered the music world with two critically acclaimed, multi-platinum albums - Songs In 'A' Minor and The Diary of Alicia Keys. Blessed with an extraordinary musical talent, Keys' duet with Usher will further enhance her reputation as one of music's most original artists.
Italian star Tiziano Ferro has made the highly successful transition from musical prodigy to star in a remarkably short time. From his first number one single Perdono in 2001, Tiziano has become a regular fixture in the Italian charts and has also had significant success across Europe and Latin America - releasing two multi-platinum albums, Rosso Relativo and 111 - which have consolidated his reputation for the best in contemporary R&B and pop. Tiziano will bring a typically energetic performance to the MTV Europe Music Awards 2004.
