New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Launch Tennessee (LaunchTN) announced today the addition of Om Malik (True Ventures, Gigaom), Geri Stengel (Forbes), Andy Weissman (Union Square Ventures), Marc Ruxin (Rdio), and Anthony Piedmonte (Bon Jovi Management) to the roster for 36|86, LaunchTN's flagship event highlighting the best in southern culture, entrepreneurship and investment.

Tickets for 36|86, June 8-10, 2015 at Marathon Music Works in Nashville, are available at www.thirtysixeightysix.com. In addition to access to hundreds of investors, fellow entrepreneurs and media, 36 southeastern startup companies will compete for a $36,000 non-equity grand prize. The selection process is ongoing inclusive of the 36|86 Southern Series of events in Atlanta, Columbia, SC, and Arlington, Va.

These 36|86 participants join the roster of other luminaries, including Julia Hartz, Co-founder and President of Eventbrite, Jonathan Shieber, Senior Editor at CrunchBase/TechCrunch, John Biggs, East Coast Editor at TechCrunch and Regan Carrizales, Former CEO of Silicon Prairie News.

Om Malik is managing partner at True Ventures, a VC firm specializing in series A investments in startups and early stage companies. Malik founded Giga Omni Media in 2006 serving as Chief Blogger and Executive Editor for Gigaom.com. He has more than 15 years of journalism experience covering technology and business news including tenures at Red Herring and Forbes.

Geri Stengel is a Forbes contributor recognized as a 2012 and 2013 Small Business Influencer for her articles on the success factors of entrepreneurs. Geri is president of Ventureneer, a digital media and market research company. She is author of Forget the Glass Ceiling: Build Your Business Without One.

Andy Weissman is a partner at New York City based Union Square Ventures. Andy began his career at AOL in the mid-90s, then managed a series of venture funds with Dawntreader Ventures. Prior to joining USV he co-founded Betaworks in 2007, which created and invested in social, real-time applications and services.

Anthony Piedmonte is an entertainment manager with extensive experience in touring, business development and the use of innovative marketing and technology. Anthony joined Bon Jovi Management in January 2010. The band has since performed in over 30 countries selling in excess of $600,000,000 in gross ticket sales.

Marc Ruxin, COO of Rdio, oversees marketing, business development, programming and advertising. Rdio offers a music catalog of over 32 million songs in 85 countries worldwide seeking to provide access to every song, on every device, anywhere in the world instantly, online or offline. Ruxin joined Rdio through their acquisition of TastemakerX, a social music platform he founded and ran between 2011-2014.
