"The Genealogy Of Reggae" Release Set For March 7, 2015
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) EbooksCaribbean has announced the release date for the highly anticipated book, "The Genealogy Of Reggae 1200BC - 2012AD by non-fiction author Lloyd Laing.

Two release dates have been set for the book. Reggaephiles in North America and UK will be able to get the book in print format on March 7th 2015, with a full worldwide release set for April 2nd in print and digital.

The book will also be available as download cards, via pegbread.com and will be made available in select retail outlets throughout Jamaica, Florida, and New York.

The Genealogy of Reggae traces the ancestral soundscape of Reggae from Central Africa to its genetic spawns and memetic offsprings, to its current musical Diaspora that has spread throughout the world. It exhibits the extensive influence of Reggae on the global music scene and delivers a cornucopia of information in an easy to read format.

Published by EbooksCaribbean in collaboration with Baus Media, the books is Laing's third full length release since his independent debut in 2012 with the controversial social commentary work "Niggas We All Are". He followed up in 2013 as the Editor and co-author of the highly popular "Books Of Rastafari" which is considered one of the most comprehensive literary works focused on the Rastafarian movement.

The Genealogy of Reggae was slated for release in 2014 but was delayed due to EbooksCaribbean's acquisition by Singularity JM, which saw the ebook BPO restructured into a privately operated print and digital publishing outfit.
