The D'Addario Foundation Presents Carnegie Hall Debuts For For Two Emerging International Guitar Virtuosos In 'Performance Series' April 30th
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The D'Addario Foundation's Performance Series offers virtuosic, emerging classical guitarists from around the globe a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: performing at Carnegie Hall for the first time in their careers. The sixth installment of the series will take place April 30 at Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall and will feature an evening of music by Ukraine's Marko Topchii and Croatia's Zoran Dukic. The D'Addario Foundation is a non-profit organization funded by D'Addario, the world's largest maker of instrument strings and based in Long Island, NY.

At just 24 years old, Marko Topchii has won over 50 awards in international guitar competitions including a sweep at the highly regarded Falletta International Guitar Concerto Competition last year. Croatian Zoran Dukic took first prize at one of Madrid's most heralded Spanish guitar competitions and became the first ever non-Spaniard to win best interpretation of Spanish music.

The level of talent showcased is astounding and can be appreciated by a music fan of any genre.

The D'Addario Foundation, solely funded by D'Addario for the past 30 years, had donated $10 million to support and partner with +250 music education programs worldwide including NYC's 92nd Street Y, Music For All, Afro-Latin Jazz Alliance, Education Through Music and more.
