Music Festival, the Brantford Expositor, and Piston Broke have partnered together to host a Juno Awards party on March 15th at the Piston Broke (93 Dalhousie St) in Brantford, Ontario. The event is free for fans of all-ages to come down to watch this year's Juno Awards and cheer on their favourite acts. Four acts from the WTFest line-up were nominated for a Juno Award this year, including Hedley, Big Wreck,
Lights and USS. The 44th annual Juno Awards will take place in Hamilton, Ontario at Copps Coliseum, and be will hosted by
Hedley frontman Jacob Hoggard.
"We announced the line-up for the inaugural WTFest
Music Festival, and a couple weeks later we learned that four of our headlining acts had been nominated for Juno Awards," said WTFest president Jamie Stephens. "We wanted to get everyone together to cheer on our four acts, so we partnered with the Expositor and Piston Broke to throw one massive party. If you can't be at Copps Coliseum to watch the Junos in-person, you can come join us to watch it live on the big screen, and we'll have ticket giveaways as well as performances by WTFest acts Mark Wilson and
Craig Peeler Peeling throughout the night."
WTFest (What The Fest) is a two-day outdoor music festival in Brantford, Ontario on June 13th & 14th, 2015 at Lions Park. The Saturday June 13th line-up will be headlined by
Big Wreck and feature The Trews, I Mother Earth, Peeler, The Mohrs, Sons of Revelry, Gloryhound and
Ghost Town Orchestra. The Sunday June 14th show will be headlined by Canadian superstars Hedley, along with Lights, USS, Dear Rouge, The Ascot Royals, Harbour, Steven Ryan and Mark Wilson. WTFest weekend passes which include access to both shows will be $59.99, and individual day passes are available at $39.99 for Saturday and $49.99 for Sunday.
