New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Interscope Records) Los Angeles-based band The Eeries will join The Used on the road next month for a spring North American tour, which kicks off on April 3rd at House of Blues in San Diego, CA. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased HERE. Every Time I Die and The Marmozets are also on the bill.
The Eeries are touring in support of their debut The Eeries EP, which was released in December by Interscope Records. The EP includes the band's song "Shine On" as well as their debut single, "Cool Kid". Check out the live performance video for "Shine On" below. The Eeries are featured in this month's Alternative Press magazine in their annual "100 Bands You Need To Know" issue.
Produced by vocalist-guitarist and songwriter Isaiah Silva and The Eeries (guitarist Brandon Sweeney, drummer Nadir Maraschin, and bassist Eliot Lorango), the songs on the EP were recorded in an analog style, live to tape, at The Village Studios in Los Angeles. The band records, produces, and mixes all of their music themselves with their engineer. Billboard has called "Cool Kid" "a catchy sing-along for anti-social climbers," while Spin called it a "shout-along anthem for the uncool kids out there." The Eeries are putting the finishing touches on their full-length debut album, which will be released later this year.
