Welcome Wild Throne
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Bellingham, WA trio Wild Throne has announced the release of their debut LP, Harvest of Darkness, which is set to arrive August 18th via Roadrunner Records. In anticipation of the forthcoming LP which was produced by Ross Robinson (At The Drive-In, The Cure, Blood Brothers) the band - Joshua Holland (guitar/vocals), Noah Burns (drums) and Jeff Johnson (bass) - is streaming a brand new track titled "War is a Romance" exclusively on NPR.

Holland commented on the track stating, "Humans tend to seek out both love and war instinctively. Rather than thinking of them as opposites, I wanted to suggest that the intensities of violence and passion actually share more similarities than differences. That the hunger to fight is some sort of inner romance. We lust for it."

Later this month Wild Throne will embark on a string of U.S. tour dates which will commence with a performance at Boise, Idaho's Treefort Music Festival on March 26th (see full dates below). Having shared stages with everyone from Red Fang to Melt-Banana to Marnie Stern, Wild Throne will look to spend the majority of 2015 on the road and will be announcing additional tour dates in the coming weeks.

Last year Wild Throne received critical praise for their ambitious and exhilarating Blood Maker EP. "…a blistering, thunderous, infectious barrage of tightly wound instrumental precision and ecstatic, bellowed vocals…" proclaimed Stereogum, while Brooklyn Vegan declared Blood Maker "…an absolute ripper," adding "It's unpredictable, high-energy, catchy-as-f*ck stuff."
