Lee Brice's "Drinking Class" Goes Riaa Gold As "Evocative" Male Vocalist
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Lee Brice, 2015 ACM "Single of the Year" nominee, received his second RIAA certification in less than six months with "Drinking Class" certifying Gold as a Digital Single this week. Lee's first sales milestone from his #1 'I Don't Dance' (Sept. 9, 2014) was its title track which made an industry statement by being the fastest Platinum certifying country single of 2014.

As "" rises on radio charts, the "evocative" (New York Times) male vocalist kicks off a headlining tour in partnership with REVERB, a non-profit organization that unites artists and colleges to affect environmental and social change.

Though Brice has supported many causes behind the scenes - including mentoring developing songwriters and artists - this marks the first time the CMA and ACM Song of The Year winner has officially partnered with a charitable organization.

An avid outdoorsman, Brice's Campus Consciousness initiative focuses on outdoor preservation and water conservation, subjects close to the South Carolina native's heart.

"We're hoping to offset the environmental impact of the tour by supporting clean energy projects and using buses and trucks fueled with locally produced biodiesel. I have two sons and I look at this as investing in their future and that of kids around the world," shares Brice.

The first round of dates and campuses include Lee's alma matter, Clemson University, on April 11th. Tickets are available at leebrice.com.

(All shows are Lee Brice, The Cadillac Three and Chase Bryant, except where noted.)
April 8 - Buies Creek, NC - Campbell University
April 9 - Erie, PA - Penn State University
April 10 - High Point, NC - High Point University
April 11 - Clemson, SC - Clemson University (with Natalie Stovall and The Drive, and Lewis Brice)
April 15 - Saint Charles, MO - Lindenwood University
April 22 - Conway, AR - University of Central Arkansas (with The Cadillac Three and Granger Smith)
April 24 - Monroe, LA - University of Louisiana
April 30 - North Andover, MA - Merrimack College
May 1 - Slippery Rock, PA - Slippery Rock University
May 2 - Durham, NH - University of New Hampshire

Brice spent the last three weeks playing sold-out shows in Hawaii and Australia and has even sold-out seven of the nine co-bill tour dates with friend Chris Young. Lee will continue to play festivals, fairs and arenas through the spring and summer.

Founded in 2004, REVERB is a non-profit organization that brings musicians to schools to affect environmental and social change. By employing student volunteers, and working alongside partner artists, REVERB positively impacts college communities, resulting in beach clean ups to trail preservation. Former REVERB partner artists include Dave Matthews Band, Maroon 5, fun. and Jack Johnson. For more information on REVERB, visit reverb.org.
