Do It" features the vocals of Fancy's counterpart and collaborator Envy, a Minneapolis Hip Hop artist. With "Do It," she's returning to a club beat with her sharp lyrical styling.
"Do It is hands-down a summer hit! As soon as it comes on, you're immediately dancing and ready to party. When we were creating it, it was like a party in the studio. It just gets the levels in the room full of high energy," says Fancy. Fancy isn't new to making club bangers, either; her 2010 hit "
Fancy" landed on VH1's television show Basketball Wives during the outrageous booty-shaking scene at rapper Ludacris' Pool Party. Since the episode featuring the single aired, Fancy has kicked her music career in overdrive, releasing several new songs over the last five years, and continuing to work on more. "My inspiration for making music is above all, my fans. Hearing from them on how much they love my music, even the older tracks, never fails to put a smile on my face and a beat in my head," says Fancy. "It's humbling for sure."

Do It" is the first track from Fancy's upcoming album, South Side, which she describes as a love letter to her beloved city of South Minneapolis. "I've taken a year to create some of the best music of my life. These songs reflect my history with South Minneapolis, from when I was a teenager singing around the house, to when I was an adult on my own for the first time. It's where I grew up, and it's in my blood. I'm thrilled to share that feeling with others with South Side."
