 LOS ANGELES (Bragman Nyman Cafarelli/ www.bncpr.com) - On Saturday, December 11th, the most influential radio station in America, KROQ will host the most anticipated concert of the year, Almost Acoustic Christmas 2004, at the Universal Amphitheater. Night one will feature an unprecedented line-up of music talent with performances by Franz Ferdinand, The Shins, The Killers, Modest Mouse, Interpol, Jimmy Eat World, Keane, Muse, Snow Patrol, Taking Back Sunday and The Music. Night two's lineup will be announced on Wednesday. Proceeds from the show will go to the Al Wooten Jr. Heritage Center, which strives to provide a safe and caring learning environment for the youth of our communities. They offer alternatives to gang involvement and criminal activities by providing tutoring, ship training, mentoring programs, career guidance and parenting workshops. The center is located in South Central and takes a neighborhood approach to the revitalization and empowerment of a community in crisis.
