Mocean Worker, Ursula 1000 Sign With Superior Music Publishing
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Independent music publisher Superior Music Publishing announces that acclaimed electronic artists Mocean Worker and Ursula 1000 have both joined Superior for worldwide publishing deals.

Superior Music Publishing is proud to announce the additions of acclaimed electronic artists Mocean Worker and Ursula 1000 to their publishing roster.

Superior Music Publishing is a full service boutique music publishing company and joint venture with Modern Works Music Publishing. Writers on the Superior roster include Siobhan Fahey (including hits Bananarama's "Cruel Summer" and Shakespears Sister's "Stay"), Joaquin Howard (David Guetta's "Listen"), "Shameless" theme song creators the High Strung, legendary garage-rockers The Muffs, up-and-comers Big Harp, SISTERS and more.

Mocean Worker is the brainchild of Adam Dorn, who helped launch the Electro Swing movement by whimsically mixing modern beats with samples of jazz giants like Count Basie and Duke Ellington. As Mocean Worker, Dorn has contributed music to films and television shows including the end theme to AMC's Better Call Saul and the Emmy nominated/NAACP Award- winning score for the documentary "Richard Pryor - Omit the Logic," plus ads for Lincoln Mercury, Kia, Hyundai, Baileys, Kraft Foods, Olay Cosmetics and many more.

This is the first worldwide publishing deal for Mocean Worker in his lengthy career.
Ursula 1000 is the alter ego of Brooklyn, New York based producer/DJ/multi-instrumentalist Alex Gimeno. His albums and mix sessions have taken on a broad scope of retro-tinged spy grooves, bumping Latin disco funk, hints of post-punk, electro, go go and glam rock and he never stops evolving. He has long been a fixture in the world of synch, including advertising campaigns for AT&T, Samsung, Adidas and Grand Marnier, plus scenes for "Sex And The City," "Grey's Anatomy," "How I Met Your Mother" and "Bored To Death."

Mara Schwartz, President/Founder of Superior Music Publishing, comments, "These artists are pioneers in their fields, and I couldn't be more thrilled to be working with them. They both come to us with amazingly strong musical repertoires and histories that Superior can help grow and develop. "

Says Mocean Worker, "I am extremely excited to be part of the Superior Music Publishing team and I look forward to many creative situations as a result. I've always kept it indie. Superior Music Publishing and Mowo! are an incredible combination."

Ursula 1000 adds, "When I heard that Mara had started Superior I knew I had to jump on board. We had a wonderful business relationship going during her time at Bug Music and BMG and I can't wait to see what the future holds with this new chapter."

The new, self-titled Mocean Worker album will be available on August 18th, 2015. Ursula 1000's new album, Voyeur, will be released in October on Insect Queen Music.
