Patrick James Releases Stunning Video For New Single "Bugs"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) A favourite with fans since James' days busking on the streets, "Bugs" fuses together stripped back acoustic arrangements with beautifully layered piano, string sections and the painfully angelic vocal lines Patrick James has become known for. With its stripped back production and self-assured subtlety, "Bugs" takes a step forward in a new, more matured direction, while borrowing heavily from Patrick's past.

Originally hailing from Port Macquarie, Patrick James began making a name for himself after relocating to Australia's largest city, Sydney. Reminiscent of the origin stories of global acts like Passenger, Ed Sheeran and Australian artist Vance Joy, Patrick began his act on the streets, performing as an on-again-off-again busker.

Patrick caught the ears of major Australian group Boy & Bear, who introduced Patrick to tens of thousands of fans as the support act on their biggest national Australian tour to date. With a new brand as Australia's answer to James Bay, Patrick followed the tour with a breath-taking cover of The Church's "Under The Milky Way" which was picked up by Australian TV drama 'Offspring' (and broadcast to millions, in 12 different countries), released two EP's, sold out headline shows throughout Australia and New Zealand multiple times and supported the likes of Emma Louise, Josh Pyke, The Paper Kites and more.

An honest and true songsmith with an innate flair for soft acoustics, stirring harmonies and a heavy-hearted lyric, Patrick James's new single "Bugs" lays out a confident road map for his debut album due later in 2015.
