The Bastard Sons Announce Motor Sister Support Tour For January 2016
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) What the press are saying about 'Smoke':
"Classic rock? Punk? Stoner? We're not quite sure, but we f*****g love it" - Metal Hammer
"Rough and tumble party-metal anthems" - Rock Sound
"Belligerent punk-metal" - Kerrang! [KKKK]
"Menacing, heavy, punk-infused rock and roll - Big Cheese Magazine
"Perfectly formed" - Terrorizer
York-based heavy rock'n'roll quintet The Bastard Sons are pleased to reveal they will appear alongside Jared James Nichols in a support slot on tour with rock and roll super group Motor Sister on their first ever UK run in January 2016.

Motor Sister is the latest project from Scott Ian (Anthrax/The Damned Things), Pearl Aday, Jim Wilson (Mother Superior), John Tempesta (The Cult) and Joey Vera (Armoured Saint) whose recently released album 'Ride' is out now.

"We're so stoked to be heading out with Motor Sister for their first UK tour!" comments The Bastard Sons drummer Rich Hardy on the dates "It's no secret that we're all huge fans of some good old rock n roll, so a band made up of some absolute legends in the rock and metal genre, playing exactly that, is the perfect way to start 2016 for us."

The Bastard Sons recently released their debut album 'Smoke' which includes iTunes Metal Chart #1 single 'Release The Hounds', with the album jumping straight into the iTunes Metal Chart Top 5 on release day.

After a storming 18 months that saw them on a US tour with Throw The Goat, their first ever Hammerfest VI appearance, a main support slot to legendary Californian hardcore punks Snot, an appearance at Bloodstock Festival and shows alongside '68 (the new project from The Chariot man Josh Scogin), Cavorts and a host of others, support for the band has been steadily building following the release of their first two records.

Their 'Bones' and 'Roads' EPs attracted praise in the alternative press from Kerrang Magazine, Rock Sound, Big Cheese Magazine, Metal Hammer, Terrorizer, Skin Deep and more, with support at TV and radio also falling in line in the face of their southern-tinged guitar assault.
The band are currently working on a new music video, details TBA.
