Angel Down is packing a one-two punch as it releases it's highly-anticipated new single "Kicked Out Of Heaven" on Friday,
September 18 immediately before they take the stage at this year's Shindig Festival on Saturday,
September 19 at 1:30 PM (Carroll Park Baltimore, MD).
Already receiving air play on numerous rock radio stations and ranking #11 on PlayMPE's Rock Top 20 for

Industry Downloads and Streams (joining such bands and artists as Chris Cornell, Imagine Dragons,
Collective Soul, Trivium, and more), "Kicked Out Of Heaven" will be available on all major digital outlets.
Black Angel Down, which is praised for its creativity and constant rebirth and reinvention,
comprises members from some of the most widely successful rock bands in the industry, including The Mayan Factor, Imbue, Live Alien Broadcast and Agents of the Sun and is fronted by Nokio, the N-Tity, of legendary multi-platinum R&B group, Dru Hill.
The band has been garnering national attention lately for its upcoming performance on the Shindig Festival, which will also feature such bands as Godsmack, Clutch, Anthrax, Helmet and more. With the addition of their new single,
Black Angel Down hopes to reach more listeners.
"The song was inspired by life," said Nokio. "Everyone will probably take something different away from it but overall it's about wanting to get back to that perfect place in life."
Describing the song as "new metal soul" because of its eclectic, hard-hitting grooves and soulful melodic vocals and harmonies,
Black Angel Down attributes its unique sound to its diverse music lineup, which also features a special guest appearance by Tao of Dru Hill.
