New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Chris MacDonald's Memories of Elvis in Concert, a full production tribute to the King of Rock-n-Roll, kicks off its fall concert tour with October stops in Rhode Island and New York. As the only tribute artist hired by Elvis Presley Enterprises to perform at Graceland's Heartbreak Hotel, Chris MacDonald returns with his popular tribute to The Vet's Auditorium located at One Avenue of the Arts Providence, Rhode Island 02903 on October 8th at 7:30 pm and The Patchogue Theatre in Long Island located at 71 East Main St, Patchogue, NY 11772 on October 9th at 7:30 pm.

38 years ago (August 16, 1977) the world lost one of the greatest entertainers and pop culture icons of the 20th century. Many are still lonesome for the energy, charisma and incredible voice of one of the most enduring icons of music history. Elvis Presley, recognized by TIME magazine as the "Artist of the Century," has sold more records than any other artist or group in the history of modern music. Even after death, his image and music continue to be loved and celebrated throughout the world. July 5, 2014 was the official 60th Birthday of Rock-n-Roll commemorating Sun Records release of Elvis Presley's song "That's all right Mama". With recent number ones on Billboard and Great Britain's charts, his songs being used on film sound tracks and television commercials and a rumored hologram in the works, Elvis once again proves he is gone, but not forgotten.

Keeping the memory alive at countless venues throughout the country, Chris MacDonald's Memories of Elvis in Concert tribute show brings back the excitement and memories of this All-American Legend in a truly dynamic multimedia performance complete with costumes, backup singers and a high-energy concert band. With his national touring production, Chris MacDonald draws his audience in with the look, sounds, and nuances that made Elvis the King. An accomplished and experienced entertainer, Chris has performed in Vegas, Branson and with the famous Legends in Concert stage productions. He has also headlined with Elvis' own original back up group, the Jordanaires and D.J Fontana at the famous Hard Rock Live Concert Arena. Adding to the authenticity of his tribute, Chris has the ultimate honor of being the only tribute artist hired by Elvis Presley Enterprises to perform at Graceland's Heartbreak Hotel.

With songs and costume changes representing highlights of several stages of Elvis Presley's iconic career: the early years, the movies, the black leather 1968 comeback, the white fringe 1970 Vegas concerts, Chris will share the incredible story of "The shy humble country boy who became the King of Rock--n-Roll. From Blue Suede Shoes to Burnin Love,MacDonald aims to give you your money's worth with his heartfelt tribute. "The show is not a parody or an overdone impersonation. With natural vocals and a dynamic band, there is a true understanding of what Elvis did best; connecting with his music and the heart of his audience." "It's a fun show", Chris MacDonald explains "It's all about the music and the Memories of Elvis".
