LOS ANGELES (Recording Academy) - Performers include six-time GRAMMY Award-winning R&B group Earth, Wind & Fire: Maurice White, Philip Bailey, Ralph Johnson and Verdine White. Earth, Wind & Fire will be joined by two-time GRAMMY Award winner Yolanda Adams; Motown recording artist Miri Ben-Ari; singer/producer Sleepy Brown; GRAMMY Award winner George Duke; entertainer and producer Sheila E.; 14-time GRAMMY Award-winning producer David Foster; So So Def/Zomba recording artist Anthony Hamilton; Capitol Records' Van Hunt; musician and "American Idol" judge Randy Jackson; Warner Bros. Records' saxophonist Boney James; Columbia Records' John Legend; Motown recording artist Brian McKnight; two-time GRAMMY Award winner Billy Preston; Hidden Beach recording artist Jill Scott; Rendezvous recording artist Wayman Tisdale; two-time GRAMMY Award winner Usher; Roc-A-Fella rapper/producer Kanye West; and Warner Bros. Records saxophonist Kirk Whalum. Additional special guests to be announced shortly. Recording Academy Trustee Rickey Minor is the executive producer of the event.

GRAMMY Jam
In conjunction with the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF), the Los Angeles Chapter of The Recording Academy will present GRAMMY Jam, an evening celebrating the distinguished career and music of GRAMMY Award-winning legends Earth, Wind & Fire. GRAMMY Jam will feature artists and musicians performing a set of hits from the Earth, Wind & Fire catalog in a jam-style setting, including a concluding finale featuring the distinguished group itself - Philip Bailey, Ralph Johnson, Verdine White, and founding member Maurice White.

The proceeds from GRAMMY Jam will benefit EIF's National Arts Education Initiative beneficiaries including the following non profit organizations: The GRAMMY Foundation, the Los Angeles Chapter Scholarship Program, California State Summer School for the Arts, Inner-City Arts, the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), and For The Arts.
