LAGUNA BEACH, CA. (Propaganda Headquarters/ www.propagandahq.net) - The Rock and Ride Concert Series presented by Redsand will kick off with a free show by San Diego's Reeve Oliver on Dec. 5, 2004, at Mountain High Resort in Wrightwood, Calif. The concert will be the first in a series of six free, open-to-the-public concerts that will bring emerging talent to the slopes of Mountain High Resort, Southern California's most popular resort. "There's no better way to make a day on the mountain more exciting than by providing great live music from talented up-and-coming bands," said Vipe Desai, president of Propaganda Headquarters, Inc., which produces the Rock and Ride Concert Series. All of the free and open-to-the-public concerts will start at noon and feature a mini-festival with vendors and giveaways by Redsand, Dragon Optical, Fender and The Militia Group. The series will launch on Dec. 5 with a show by local pop-punkers and 2003 San Diego Music Award winners Reeve Oliver, who recently released their full-length debut on The Militia Group. The second concert in the series will take place on Dec. 18 and feature Greenbrier Lane, whose song "Christmastime in the 909" inspired this year's Christmas CD - also entitled "Christmastime in the 909" - from KROQ's Kevin and Bean. The remaining, 2005 dates in the series are Jan. 14, Feb. 6 and 12, and March 5, with bands to be announced at a later date.
