Pictures Ltd. for participation in production of its karate epic, "Black Salt," (https://www.blacksaltfilm.com).
It is a story about honor and an ancient and powerful style of martial arts that has been practiced in Shaolin for hundreds of years.
October Pictures Ltd. (https://www.octoberpictures.com) has been involved with "Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life," "Dragon - The Bruce Lee Story," "Die Another Day" from the James Bond Franchise, "Spy Game," "Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon" and a host of other movies in the action genre, including Jackie Chan's "Around The World in Eighty Days."
"October Pictures joining us is indicative of what good things have been happening for this movie," Owen Ratliff, Ratti Entertainment Group (https://www.rattientertainment.com) president said. "It seems like everything for this movie is falling right into place."

UK pop star, Leslie Loh, who is scoring the feature film and animated series, brought "Black Salt" to the attention of October Pictures because of what she feels is "the quality of the script," in development. She is also collaborating with Brian McKnight regarding the theme song for the movie.
Loh's current single, "Boom Bang Bang" is being featured across the U.K. and Europe on MTV, VH1, and other top media outlets.
"Black Salt" was created with a video game and comic book components in production along side of the movie production. "He already has lined up major support for the movie in the martial arts community," Reynolds said. "Black Salt" was on the front covers of Martial Arts Online Magazine and Martial Arts World magazines in October.
The Martial Arts History Museum, a non-profit organization based in California, announced yesterday it will team with "Black Salt," film makers to initiate a fund raising project for the museum. The fundraising, t-shirt and hat product line will be available in coming weeks and via telephone at 800-463-9237.
