New York, NY (Top40 Charts) In the year-end holiday season of 2015, Incheon International Airport (www.airport.kr) will present special and warm cultural performances.
Incheon International Airport will host the winter regular performance, 'Winter Harmony Concert', from December 20th to December 24th at the
Millennium Hall on the first floor of its passenger terminal. The Concert will be held for free for one hour starting at 16:00 p.m. every day during this period.
On the first day, December 20th, the concert will begin with a non-verbal performance entitled 'Pleasant, Refreshing and Delightful Christmas Excitement at the Incheon Airport'. With a variety of performances such as that of 'Rainbow', a children cheering squad that presents excitement with cheerleading, the performance will fully boost the yuletide mood prior to Christmas. Other programs will include recital of Christmas carols in Korean traditional music by 'Hanayeon', a music group that performs fusion Korean traditional music, as well as Taekwondo, breaking and martial arts performance by 'Y-Kick', a leading group of Taekwondo performing arts.
On December 21st, a fantastic, vibrant musical gala concert will be staged by top musical actors and actresses in Korea, including Nam Kyoung-joo, Choi Jung-won and Hong Ji-min. The 'legend of musical' Nam Kyoung-joo who represents the first generation musical singers, Choi Jung-won who dominates the stage with explosive singing ability and expression of affluent emotion and Hong Ji-min with powerful song and unique individuality will offer beautiful melodies of popular musicals with appealing voice.
A concert of classical music will be held on December 22nd under the baton of Art
Director Kim Jung-taek of SBS Pops Orchestra. The audience will have a chance to listen powerful performance of the pop orchestra conducted by Art
Director Kim Jung-taek who created numerous imperishable masterpieces.
On December 23rd, the
National Chorus of Korea will introduce the best of harmony. With a wide range of repertoires, including world renowned choral music, songs, folk songs and carols, the most famous chorus in the country will warm the heart of the audience.
On December 24th, the day preceding Christmas, KBS Symphony Orchestra will present an orchestra concert. Marking its 700th regular concerts for over 60 years playing a pivotal role in leading the classical music circle in Korea, KBS Symphony Orchestra will provide a touching and merry Christmas Eve with magnificent and fantastic performance.
For those who want to enjoy the 'Winter Harmony Concert' more conveniently, a part of seats will be reserved in advance, and seats can be reserved on its website (www.airport.kr) in the order of arrival. And anyone can freely view the concert in standing position even though seats are not available.
