Sanctus Real continues good fight w/ Early '05 Tour

BRENTWOOD, TN. (Sparrow Records) - Ohio rock band Sanctus Real, whose sophomore project, FIGHT THE TIDE, was named among the best 12 albums of 2004 by ChristianMusicToday.com, will launch its second headlining tour in January 2005.

Sanctus Real will play 20 shows in January and February on a bill that also includes rising Tooth & Nail band Hawk Nelson.

Since its release, FIGHT THE TIDE has received a huge wave of favorable reviews and notched the second Sanctus Real No 1 radio hit of 2004, "Everything About You."
The band kicked off this year atop the Rock chart with its cover of U2's "Beautiful Day" from the charity album IN THE NAME OF LIVE: ARTISTS UNITED FOR AFRICA. Two new singles from FIGHT THE TIDE, "Alone" and "Things Like You," are now climbing the Rock and Christian Hit charts respectively.
