LOS ANGELES (A'Postrophe Records/ www.apostropherecords.com) - Jaci Velasquez and A'postrophe Records are giving away two free song downloads the month of December from each of the label's new artists, Michael Cook and Grand Prize, before their CDs are in the stores. Fans who visit www.apostropherecords.com and provide their name and e-mail address receive a link to a page that features a download of "Lately" by Michael Cook and "It's Not Over" by Grand Prize. The songs will be launched on the website December 1, 2004.

Michael Cook's life changed when he got a call from platinum-selling Christian and Latin recording artist Jaci Velasquez, inviting Cook to join her on the road for her 30-city Unspoken tour.
Velasquez had received a copy of one of Cook's independent projects and quickly knew that she had discovered a major new talent. In fact, the more she got to know Cook and his music, the more Velasquez was impressed. 'It was a no-brainer,' she says simply. 'He has everything that I believe an artist needs to make it in this industry. His talent speaks for itself, and his ministry is very real and uncalculated.' Cook's new CD, Imprint, will be in stores January 25, 2005.

When you think of the breeding ground for Christian music's artists of tomorrow, you probably don't initially think of Idaho. But Luke Caldwell, Steven Harder, Tony Caruso and Nolan Mather (better known as Grand Prize) may soon change all that.
A rock band based in Boise, Grand Prize has a fresh sound that's being compared to current hit makers Switchfoot and Jeremy Camp. Caldwell says the band is 'just four simple guys who love Jesus and want to serve Him with their music.' They hope to do just that with Identity, which releases on A'postrophe Records January 25, 2005.
It is the season of giving from A'postrophe Records and Jaci Velasquez, wishing all the best this Holiday Season.
