K-OS holds the No 1 spot on the Hip-Hop/Rap section of the iTunes Store for both album and single; K-Os' 'Joyful Rebellion' album Gold in Canada!

NEW YORK (Astralwerks) - Apple finally launched the highly-anticipated iTunes Canadian store last Wednesday and it seems buyers were lined up at the url "doors" anxiously waiting to download k-os' music.

K-OS' album 'Joyful Rebellion' and his current single "Crabbuckit" are the No 1 most downloaded on the Hip Hop/Rap section of the Itunes music store in both categories, beating out Black Eyed Peas, Eminem, Snoop Dogg and Jay-Z among others.
"Crabbuckit" is also the No 3 most downloaded song overall in the entire store.

Congratulations to The Chemical Brothers for their Grammy nomination this week for Best Dance Recording for "Get Yourself High". It's also great news for k-os since "Get Yourself High" is the song featuring k-os on vocals.

Additionally, with a recent sold-out cross-Canada tour, a Top 5 CHR radio hit with "Crabbuckit" and a GOLD record in Canada, 2004 has been a fantastic year for k-os! 2005 promises more of the same with an extensive North American tour in early 2005 and the international launch of Joyful Rebellion!
