The program also features interviews accompanied with musical illustration by his sidemen, Gary Bartz, Dave Holland, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, Airto Moreira, and many others explaining in both words and performance how they, themselves were influenced by Miles at that time and how in turn they influenced him. Additionally there are interviews with music composers, who were inspired by Miles' ability to creatively change (they include Joni Mitchell and Carlos Santana among others).
