New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Teddy Thompson and acclaimed singer
Kelly Jones released their stunning harmony duet collaboration
Little Windows today via Cooking Vinyl. The duo will also kick off their tour in support of the album this Sunday in Philadelphia (Please see all dates below). The Associated Press called the album "Terrific" and Pop Matters said "Teddy Thompson is one of the best living hopes for contemporary music" and continued "...Thompson, Jones and their collaborators have given us a round of tunes that aren't already classics but are certainly destined to be." The
Boston Globe offered "Whatever the particular style,
Little Windows is a series of sparkling pop gems; clocking in at just under 26 minutes, the only thing the record leaves you wanting is more of it." Of their live performance at the Central Presbyterian Church during SXSW last month, the Star Telegram said they "made magic happen" and "the house of worship seemed almost to levitate with the purity of the pair's harmonies."

Teddy and
Kelly first sang together on a
George Jones track at LA's Club Largo in 2011. It was love at first note and not long after, they embarked on a bi-coastal musical relationship (she in Los Angeles, he in New York City) writing the songs that would become
Little Windows along with partner Bill DeMain. Inspired by the Everly Brothers,
Buddy Holly, and Sam Cooke, the ten songs that comprise the album explore the joy and sorrows of love and the vagaries of the human heart.
In keeping with a classic sound the album was recorded live to tape by producer Mike Viola (Ryan Adams, Jenny Lewis) with a stellar band featuring Pete
Thomas (Elvis Costello and the Attractions), Davey Farragher (Cracker, Elvis Costello),
Daniel Clarke (Ryan Adams) and was executive produced by Teddy's mother,
Linda Thompson.
Teddy's last solo album Bella was released in 2011; while he produced and sang on 2014's acclaimed Thompson Family album that featured his now-divorced parents Richard &
Linda Thompson among many other family members. A longtime member of
Rufus Wainwright's band, Teddy has also collaborated with Emmylou Harris, Mary Chapin Carpenter, among others. In 2014, The New York Times Magazine called Teddy "one of the most gifted singer-songwriters of his generation."
Kelly Jones' debut album SheBANG was released in 2008 to critical acclaim and was called "a practically flawless 28 minutes of power pop" by Power Popaholic. Her follow-up Alta Loma was released in 2008.
