Cyndi Lauper, Johnny Lee, Chris Young, Thompson Square & More Featured In The Latest Episode Of 'The Pickup'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) New releases is the trend in this latest episode of 'The Pickup.' Dierks Bentley released his new studio album "Black," featuring the #1 single "Somewhere On A Beach." Country duo, Thompson Square, debuted the music video for "You Make It Look So Good," which guest stars their baby boy, Rigney, and some personal home videos the couple wanted to share. Johnny Lee, the classic country legend, will release his first album in 10 years, You Ain't Never Been To Texas, June 3. "I'm still alive, I'm still a singer, and I don't wanna sing the same songs over and over for the rest of my life," he told 'The Pickup' adding, "my fans want to hear new music." The 12-track disc can be purchased on his website at www.JohnnyLeeMusic.com.

To support the release of her debut country album, Cyndi Lauper kicked off her international 'Detour' Tour at Nashville's historic Ryman Auditorium on May 9. The album has seen huge success and can be found everywhere music is sold. Fans can enjoy a #PickupExclusive in this episode featuring footage from her Ryman Auditorium show along with an interview with Lauper herself.

Another country diva kicking off her tour soon is Dolly Parton. The country legend will set off on the Pure and Simple Tour - her first in two decades - this month. Tour dates can be found at www.DollyParton.com

Nashville plays host to CMA Music Festival this month, which will feature 11 official stages throughout downtown Nashville and nearly every country artist. Danny Shirley shares his memory of Confederate Railroad's first ever CMA Music Festival in this episode, and Exile talks about their Nissan Stadium performance to celebrate their 50th Anniversary. Chris Young will kick off this year's festival as host of the opening ceremonies beginning Wednesday, June 10 at 10am CT at The Sky View Stage at Ascend Ampitheater. The Pickup's own Adam Wurtzel will host the Not-So-Newlywed Game at the CMA Close-up Stage on Sunday of the festival at 3pm CT. The game will pit Thompson Square's Keifer and Shawna Thompson against three couples picked from the audience in a tribute to the beloved game show.
