After playing a series of overseas shows,
Elvis Costello will continue his solo "
Detour" tour in the US with 12 shows across the Midwest and South, including Austin City Limits Live in Austin, TX, and Nashville's legendary Ryman Auditorium.
These critically acclaimed "
Detour" shows have been Costello's first performances following the publication of his best-selling 2015 memoir, "Unfaithful
Music & Disappearing Ink" (Blue Rider Press/Penguin
Random House).
This October, expect the same "disarmingly revealing" and "uproariously funny" (LA Times) performances as Costello plays his best known songs and selected favorites with just a piano and guitar, all in front of a giant television set projecting family photos, mysteries, mottos, and other mischief.
