NEW YORK (JAG PR/ IDG World Expo/ www.idg.com) - The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus, a unique non-profit state-of-the-art mobile recording and multimedia studio, will be at the Macworld Conference & Expo in San Francisco, January 11-14. The Bus was created seven years ago to provide free workshops for school age children and teens throughout the country and to introduce an array of opportunities within the music, audio and multi-media industries.
Free tours are offered at all of the Bus' stops, which include schools, Boys and Girls Clubs, concert tours, festivals, and conferences. The one-of-a-kind Bus features Apple's industry leading audio and video solutions including GarageBand, Logic Pro 7, Final Cut Pro 4, and DVD Studio Pro 3.

The front and rear studios each feature the latest equipment and gear including the Apple dual 2.5 GHz Power Mac G5 desktops, a full complement of 17-, 15- and 12-inch PowerBook G4 notebooks, 23-inch Apple Cinema HD Displays, Yamaha Guitars and Keyboards, Audio-Technica Microphones, JVC Professional video cameras, Digidesign's ProTools HD3 Accel, Aphex mic preamps, Neutrik connectors and patch panels, Furman Sound's headphone systems, DiscMakers' ReflexPro7 DVD±R replicator, Stanton's Final Scratch, and the complete line of Planet Waves instrument and patch cables. Tours of the Bus and an introduction to all of the latest gear will take place throughout the four day Conference & Expo. Gifts for visitors to the Bus will be provided by Maxell, themusicedge.com, Spin Magazine, and more.

The public can enjoy performances, which will demonstrate Apple's latest audio and video solutions, by world-class talent staged in front of the Bus inside the Moscone Center, including the multi-platinum Spin Doctors, John Legend, Fatty Koo (a true Bus success story, these teens were brought together by the Lennon Bus and are now signed to Columbia Records and Cherry Lane Music Publishing), Nitty, whose smash single 'Nasty Girl' exploded as the No 1 selling single in the nation and promising new star on the horizon singer/songwriter, Meleni.

The Lennon Bus is made possible through the cooperation of many partners and corporate sponsors who believe in the value of providing young people with the opportunity to be inspired to write and make music and music videos, while being introduced to those products and technologies that facilitate the creative process.

During 2005, the Bus will visit Apple retail stores in the following cities: Pleasanton, CA; Miami; Los Angeles; Denver; Las Vegas; Tucson, AZ; New York City; Boston; Chicago; Minneapolis, MN; and Troy, MI.
