MELBOURNE, Australia (www.screemingjets.com.au) - The Screaming Jets know how tough it can be to stick to your guns, but that is exactly what they have done throughout their 15 year career to arrive at this point. From the highs to the lows these guys have toughed it out and are one of Australia's premier touring rock bands because of it. Their commitment to their fanbase is unparalelled by any other band in the country.

Countless tours both national and international, is testament to the fact that these guys love it. They live for it. 'Playing in a rock band can be the most awesome thing in the world' says guitarist/songwriter Grant Walmsley, 'there are also times when it can tear your guts out, but at the end of the day to play to big crowds the world over and to have your songs on the radio and gold and platinum records on the wall, the people you meet and the places you see it's the most fulfilling job in the world'

It takes a lot of commitment to last longer than 5 minutes in the music industry, so to be around, relevant and successful as The Jets after all this time is no mean feat. ‘There is a misconception in many parts of the music media, both print and radio, with long a track record such as The Jets is old hat. This is a myth perpetuated by the new ‘ Idol' mindset that has invaded the music industry. The fact is, if you are great you stay around, if you are shit, you give up after a few years when you find you are no longer the darlings of the popular press.

Right Place Wrong Time is the new tour by The Jets. Kicking off in Queensland early January, the boys will travel then to W.A, S.A., before returning to N.S.W in March. The nature of this tour is in keeping with their long held belief that true rock fans aren't only to be found at the hip scene gigs in capital cities, they are scattered far and wide. Paul Woseen, founding Bass player/songwriter with the band is a road warrior in every sense of the word. 'Touring is what we love, the constant travel and the knowledge that every night on tour is a new beginning, challenges you to put on a better show than the last one.'

Choosing what songs to play on tour when you have such a huge catalog to pick from can be a big task but the band are always conscious to make sure the shows have something for all of their fans. This tour will be no exception. 'Every tour when we rehearse, we throw songs into the mix that maybe we haven't played for a while, that, and we always put new songs from forthcoming releases in too. That way we can give people a kind of an insight into the musical journey that is The Screaming Jets, from the fast and the furious to the more laid back and mellow, you get it all at a Jets show'

So if you haven't caught The Jets live, it's time to get rocked like never before.
If you have seen them before, it's time to get rocked again.
New songs, new show, new drummer, it's all goin' off at a Jets gig so get there. Rock On.
