NASHVILLE, TN. (Webster PR) - Grammy-winning and multi-platinum entertainer Lee Greenwood will serve as Fox News Channel's National Correspondent on New Year's Eve from the 'Korbel All American New Year's Eve Bash' in Nashville. Midnight in downtown Nashville will be symbolized by a 'Guitar Drop' from the Riverstage on the banks of the Cumberland River.

The Nashville event will be featured with musical performances by two nationally known entertainers during the 2-hour telecast as a part of Fox News Channel's 'All American New Year's Eve,' which will air live nationally. The two nationally known entertainers will be announced later this week.

Greenwood is honored by the opportunity to be Fox's National Correspondent, 'You do not receive an opportunity like this everyday. It didn't take any time for me to make my decision about this one. I'll see you on New Year's Eve!'

Additional performers slated to appear in downtown Music City on the Riverstage - 'Nashville Star' winner Brad Cotter and Chance of MuzikMafia with The Tennessee Trailer Choir.

In the first of its kind event from Nashville, live music will highlight the New Year's countdown from the floating Riverstage in the Cumberland River's downtown setting. In celebration of Nashville's unique positioning as the country music capital of the world, the traditional 'ball drop' at the strike of twelve, will be replaced by a huge guitar that will descend from high over the Cumberland River.
