Harrah's Summer Rock Fest Is Certainly No 'Small Thing' For Blink 182 Fans!

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The search for the opening band for Blink 182 is on and thanks to Harrah�s Philadelphia, in conjunction with Radio 104.5, the much-anticipated finals will be held during Harrah�s Summer Rock Fest on Saturday, August 27 outside on the patio.

Performances by 15 local bands from the Let There Be Rock School and Future Stars Showcases including, Rusty Blue, Sugar Rush Rocks, Caliifornium and Oblivion Her Majesty, will set the stage for the ultimate battle of the bands!

The top four original bands from Philadelphia, as voted on by Radio 104.5 listeners, will have the opportunity to compete for the ultimate slot as Blink 182�s opening band during their show on Labor Day in Atlantic City�and infinite bragging rights, of course.

The Harrah�s Summer Rock Fest will be hosted by Radio 104.5 DJ Jesse and will feature a BBQ, food trucks, carnival games, face painters, giveaways and much more on its beautifully-appointed patio that overlooks the racetrack.

During the all-day music fest, there will also be TWO giant ticket raids for upcoming Blink 182 concerts, including 104 pairs for the 9/5 show and 104 pairs for the 104.5 Block Party, which is being held September 18.

The Harrah�s Summer Rock Fest starts at 2 PM and is an all ages show however guests must be 21 to drink and/or gamble. It is also a rain or shine event.
