New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The popular southwest funk and dance group Merican Slang, has signed a deal to join the roster of the recently formed 13
Music label, and will release their new EP "4 On The 4th" Tuesday, August 16.
Merican Slang made it's debut in 2011, and immediately became a hit act on stages from New Mexico to California, opening for such artists such as the legendary Bob Dylan.
Merican Slang was formed by Ricardo Sanchez (Drums/Vocals), and Dave Pankuch(Bass/Vocals), who performed together with the rock and blues act The Rudy Boy Experiment, and were joined by
James Haynes (Guitar/Lead Vocals), and,
Romeo Alonzo(Alto Saxophone/Vocals).

The group released their debut album �Livin� in Merica� in 2015, produced by Mike Gerdes, of the legendary Central Root Studios in Albuquerque, which received regional radio airplay.
�4 On The 4th� from Merican Slang will drop worldwide via online and mobile stores on August 16th, and will be avail for pre-orders on Amazon and iTunes. The following week in conjunction with the release, Merican Slag will perform at the Albuquerque Hopfest on Saturday, August 27.
