DENVER, CO. (Frontier Airlines/ www.frontierairlines.com) - Frontier Airlines today announced that they have become the exclusive and official airline of the Colorado Symphony Orchestra (CSO) and Opera Colorado. Jeff Potter, CEO of Frontier Airlines joined Doug Adams, President of the Symphony and Peter Russell, President and General Director of Opera Colorado to announce the partnerships.
Under the terms of the agreements, Frontier will contribute air travel to both institutions and will provide several marketing benefits including advertising for both the Symphony and the Opera on Frontier's unique LiveTV service aboard the planes.
In return, both institutions will provide Frontier with targeted marketing and advertising opportunities aimed at concert attendees and season ticket holders. In addition, Frontier President and CEO, Jeff Potter and his wife Kelly Potter have been named the event chairs for the Colorado Symphony Ball, which will take place April 16, 2005 at the Westin Tabor Center.

The announcement adds a cultural element to Frontier's inventory of Colorado-based sponsorships. Frontier currently is the official airline of more than a dozen local non-profits, professional and collegiate sports teams and Colorado ski resorts. Frontier also contributes more than 3,000 airline tickets each year to over 800 Colorado-based charities for use in charitable auctions.
"This strategic partnership with Frontier is exceptionally important to the Colorado Symphony Orchestra," Doug Adams, president and CEO of the Colorado Symphony Orchestra said. "It is a logical brand alliance of two organizations which have superior recognition in the marketplace for high quality products and service. Additionally, the support of Frontier will allow the Colorado Symphony to continue to enhance and expand its mission of artistic excellence."

"Opera Colorado is very grateful for the opportunity to partner with Frontier Airlines," said Peter Russell, president and general director of Opera Colorado. "Many people don't realize what hard work it is to be an opera singer. The act of performing opera along with singing at this altitude can be physically taxing for these highly trained artists so it is great to know that we will be able to offer our artists the opportunity to travel in comfort with Frontier Airlines."

"Frontier Airlines is committed to Colorado," Potter said. "We simply wouldn't have grown and succeeded over our 10-year history without the loyalty the citizens of Colorado have shown their hometown airline. Strong support for the arts is a hallmark of our community and Frontier is proud to partner with and support two of Colorado's most valuable cultural gems."
The announcements from Frontier add a cultural element to Frontier's Colorado sponsorship inventory of local sports teams, ski resorts and nonprofit organizations.

* Earlier this month, Frontier announced partnerships with three major charitable organizations in Denver: Colorado Make-A-Wish, Colorado Volunteers of America, and the Children's Hospital. In addition, Frontier currently contributes round-trip tickets to more than 3,000 non-profit organizations per-year to be used for charity auctions.

* In late November, Frontier announced a partnership with Intrawest Colorado which operates both Winter Park and Copper Mountain ski resorts. As a result, Frontier passengers who show their ticket stub can receive two-for-one lift tickets at both resorts.

* Frontier currently enjoys an exclusive airline relationship with several of Denver's professional sports teams including the Pepsi Center, Denver Nuggets (NBA), Colorado Avalanche (NHL), Colorado Rockies (MLB), Colorado Crush (AFL), Colorado Mammoth (NLL), and the Colorado Rapids (MLS).

* Frontier also holds exclusive partnerships with a variety of collegiate teams including the University of Colorado, the University of Denver, the University of Northern Colorado, Colorado State University, the Air Force Academy and the University of Wyoming.
