New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Fayetteville, Arkansas-based indie rock band
Brother Moses just premiered their video for "
Older" at USA Today, who called it "a perfect bit of jangly guitar rock."
"
Older" is off
Brother Moses' recently released sophomore EP Legends. So far
Legends has been praised by Paste, Impose, American Songwriter, and The Wild
Honey Pie, who recently premiered their song "Time to Leave," saying "the track feels reminiscent of vintage era
Vampire Weekend with a little added pop."
Recorded in LA and produced by Raymond Richards (Local Natives, Avid Dancer, Ferraby Lionheart),
Legends marks
Brother Moses' followup to 2015's Thank You For All Your Patience EP.
American Songwriter premiered the band's video for "Crazy Eyes" which they called "lighthearted but slightly morbid." Watch or embed the video here: https://youtu.be/98tPng-IOSA
Brother Moses began in 2014 when
James Lockhart and Moses
Gomez came together while studying at The University of Arkansas. Their debut EP was praised by Independent Clauses, who said, the lyrics are memorable, the melodies are tight, and the instrumental work is solid, but the overall mood of the piece is its greatest takeaway. In the spring of 2015, the band teamed up with now full-time members Matthew Heckmann (bass) and John-Lewis Anderson (guitar, keys) to record their sophomore EP.
Legends is out now via Missing Piece Records. Buy it now at iTunes or Amazon.
