Watch U2 Debate Donald Trump At Bay Area Benefit Concert: 'You're Fired'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) U2 mocked Donald Trump and his proposed border wall before performing "Bullet the Blue Sky" at a concert in San Francisco on Wednesday. The Irish rockers blasted the Republican presidential candidate by playing a supercut of The Donald talking about his excessive wealth and xenophobia. The band shared the moment on their official Facebook page.

"We're very glad for you, candidate, sincerely we are. The only real question we have for you this evening: What is your vision for this great nation?" frontman Bono said to the crowd as the video played on a massive screen behind him.

After he posed the question, a clip of Trump saying, "I will build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will have Mexico pay for that wall," played.

"Now, candidate, you understand its not just Mexican people who are going to have a problem with this wall of yours," Bono continued. "It's everyone who loves the idea of America."

Bono went on to recite a few lines from Emma Lazarus' sonnet "The New Colossus" - "Give me your tired, your poor / your huddled masses yearning to breathe free" - before criticizing Trump's views on immigration.

"Good people are not going to stay silent while you run off with the American dream," Bono said. "You're fired."
