New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Boston, MA based rock band �Road Dawg� has signed with Recked Entertainment exclusively for management. Recked Entertainment will act as the band manager and advisor throughout the world.
Road Dawg is combined of a new line up of talented and seasoned musicians. Drummer Isaac Leyn Gorrido (Izzy Rock), born in Santiago, Chile immigrating as a youngster with his family to the U.S. in the late 80s, Izzy was embraced by hard rock music. Thanks to his parents, music was a huge part in his early life. From
Led Zeppelin and Kansas, to
Elvis Presley and Fats Domino, the appreciation for Rock-n-Roll grew and grew. As a teenager, his love for hard rock music defined him into becoming a drummer.
Having recorded and released 2 CDs with his former band Pretty
Little Suicide (Self-titled Pretty
Little Suicide, and the follow-up F*ck The Grind), PLS also went on to perform at such notable festivals such as Rock N
America in 2010 and Rocklahoma in 2011, 2012.
As the founding member of Road Dawg (along with Jason Cornwell) and already with some big rock festivals under their belt, Izzy is getting ready to enter the studio for Road Dawg's debut CD. Izzy is endorsed by Porkpie Percussion, Kaces gig bags, Xcel Drumsticks, Reunion Blues, and Dominic�s Leather Designs.
Jason Cornwell is known for his illustrious work with the
Boston bands, 3 Parts Dead and Burning Heat (Ethan Brosh). His repertoire includes the use of cording, two hand tapping, a right hand �3 finger picking� technique and controlled feedback.
He was recruited by Eric Martin, of the legendary band
Mr. Big as bassist for his side project, The Eric
Martin Band and continues to work as a solo artist releasing CD�s, touring with original artists and is currently endorsed by Brubaker Basses, Vivid Amps and Ernie Ball Strings. Jason is also noted as a steady �true� bassist, fulfilling the traditional supportive role of the electric bass in the rock rhythm section.
Vocalist
Scotty Dunbar formerly of the band D.M.K. has been performing since the young age of 14. He released his debut solo EP �In a Mellow Mood" worldwide on Down Boys Records. The six song EP featured guest performances by Michael Sweet of Stryper, Louis St August of MASS & female pop vocalist AMJ. In A Mellow Mood debuted on Amazon as #1 "Top 100 Hot New Releases Chart" category: Pop Rock, # 1 "Top 100 Hot New Releases Chart" category: Euro Pop� and #3 on the �Top 100 Best Sellers Chart" category: Pop.
Plasma films released a documentary titled
Scotty Dunbar � The Fire That Won�t Go Out� on October 5th, 2015. The film was directed by Brian Ouelette, a two-time Telly Award winner. The film aired several times on TV stations and is now streaming online: https://vimeo.com/141451995.
Scotty has been touring nationally as a solo artist and with DMK for the past 5 years.
Guitarist Ben Cote has been performing since age 15. Inspired by artists such as Van Halen, Aerosmith, Guns N Roses, and The Ramones. He is currently a student at Berklee College of Music, and is the 2016 recipient of Berklee�s Achievement Award. Ben is also the founder of The Ben Cote Band, where he is the lead guitarist and songwriter. He has released an EP, titled �Order Up�, in 2015, and his new album, �Tight
Jeans and Sunglasses� is set to release in Fall 2016. Both records were produced by
David Minehan. Cote�s music has been played on Colin Noble�s
Radio Show on London�s ARFm, where Ben was also interviewed. Ben has also received radio airplay on several
Boston college radio stations.
