'Red Hot' Redwalls to Tour North America with Keane

LOS ANGELES (Capitol Records) - Already celebrated as "red hot" (Jim DeRogatis, Chicago Sun-Times) and "one of Chicago's three best bands" (Greg Kot, Chicago Tribune), Capitol Records recording artist, The Redwalls have been confirmed to support Keane on their January/February North American tour. Currently in the studio with producer Rob Schnapf (Beck, Elliot Smith, The Vines), the Redwalls' Capitol Records debut is scheduled for release in June 2005. The Redwalls are a full-throttle combustion of power-pop effervescence and classically soulful '60s influences, delivered with uncommon maturity and chops.

Logan Baren, 22 (guitar), Justin Baren, 19 (bass), and Andrew Langer, 20 (guitar), are childhood friends and neighbors from the suburban town of Deerfield who have been playing together since Justin was in junior high. All three write, sing and even play a little piano. The band is rounded out by 21 year-old drummer Ben Greeno.

The Redwalls' independent album, Universal Blues (Undertow), which came out in 2003, as well as, the band's nonstop hooks, thrilling harmonies and electrifying grit have already won over audiences around the U.S.A. The Redwalls have toured extensively with Chris Robinson and Rooney, shared stages with the Jayhawks, the Long Winters and Ike Reilly, and wowed crowds at Twangfest, SXSW and International Pop Overthrow.
