LONDON, UK (www.upfronttv.com/ www.celebritiesworldwide.com) - The British singer, who celebrates his 31st birthday in February, topped a survey of the most frequently requested celebrity names who were searched for on the Internet on the media and entertainment industry website CELEBRITIES WORLDWIDE. Robbie rose from third spot in 2003 to first in 2004 to claim the CELEBRITIES WORLDWIDE crown.

In addition to being most sought after name on CELEBRITIES WORLDWIDE, Robbie's "Greatest Hits" went to number one in the Album charts while his comeback song, "Radio", his first single in the UK for two years, shot straight to the top of the UK singles chart.
The star also enjoyed success last year with his second single "Misunderstood" from the album which featured on the soundtrack to the Bridget Jones's Diary 2 movie.

But things were not quite so "pukka" for cheeky chap chef Jamie Oliver who has slumped from first to fifth position in the last 12 months in the Celebrities Worldwide rankings.

The Celebrities Worldwide website contains contact details for over 17,000 Celebrities and People in the News. It has become a showbiz bible for more than 30,000 website visitors a month and professionals working in major media organisations such as the BBC, Granada, ITN and top advertising agencies and PR companies around the world.

MADONNA overtook KYLIE MINOGUE who took third and fourth spot respectively.

RICHARD BRECKER, Joint Managing Director of www.celebritiesworldwide.com said: "Robbie Williams can now be regarded as 'rock royalty' - it seems he is part of the establishment in the same league as Sir Elton John, Mick Jagger and David Bowie who have proved their longevity"
"Robbie has been incredibly successful for more than 8 years as a Solo Artist and for five years before that with Take That. It is a remarkable achievement and his stage presence, charisma and enduring star quality is reflected by the number of people requesting information on him"

Celebrities Worldwide is the sister company of the UK's leading celebrity booking company Upfront Television which this year masterminded the glittering star-studded turn-out at the summer's hot music event, the Virgin V Festival, the Saatchi Gallery first anniversary and film premieres including the Andrew Lloyd-Webber/ Joel Schumacher blockbuster "The Phantom of the Opera", Kevin Spacey's "Beyond the Sea" and "Ladies in Lavender" which starred Dame Judi Dench and Maggie Smith in the presence of HRH The Queen.
