NEW YORK (Recording PR/ Centaur Records) - Originally released on Mihrab Records for the European market in late 2002, Centaur Records (
https://www.centaurrecords.com) has released "Sileuta" by Jacco Muller (flamenco guitar) and Artur Trajko (cello) in the United States in January, 2005.
Already praised as a "world class recording with world class talent," the fourth release by this Dutch flamenco guitarist is expected to cement his reputation as an exceptional instrumentalist, composer and producer.
The album was recorded on two continents, with many of the basic tracks recorded in the Netherlands at Studio LeRoy in Amsterdam. Additional tracks were recorded in Chicago, IL (USA) by Keith Uchima at A&R Recording (
https://www.keithuchima.com/html/aandr.html). The album was then mixed and mastered by John Scrip (
https://www.johnscrip.com) at MASSIVE Mastering in Schaumburg, IL (
https://www.massivemastering.com).
A review from Dutch music magazine "Muziekwereld" can be found at the MASSIVE Mastering website (

Jacco Muller (composer, flamenco guitar) trained in classical, jazz and pop at an early age in the Netherlands. He later chose flamenco guitar as a major study, completing his degree at the Rotterdam Conservatory of Music. His first solo flamenco guitar album "Imagenes de la Luz" was released in 1998, leading to a second album "Laberinto", in 2000, featuring his compositions including piano and cello, accompanied by bass guitar and Latin percussion.
This latest project reveals yet another dimension to Jacco's compositional abilities and musical diversity uniting the traditionally classical instruments, cello and violin, with the soulful flamenco feeling.
Performing, teaching and accompanying flamenco dance has sent him to Germany, Belgium, France, Venezuela and the United States. Jacco's classical compositions have also been recorded by the Philharmonia Bulgarica (Blugarian Philharmonic orchestra), among others.
