New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Getting little ones to brush their teeth can be a trying task. Tom's of Maine, maker of the No. 1 natural children's toothpaste, is helping kids develop good brushing habits by bringing a new beat to the bathroom sink! The new "Silly Brushing Song (Brush 'Em Up)" by legendary children's singer and songwriter, Laurie Berkner, helps promote a healthy routine for families.

Berkner and Tom's of Maine collaborated on the song as a way to help encourage kids to brush their teeth for a full two minutes, twice daily as recommended by the American Dental Association. "Silly Brushing Song" engages kids by fusing an easy-to-learn, upbeat tune with interactive, educational reminders on the basics of brushing.

"There is simply no one better than Laurie Berkner to help make tooth brushing fun for kids," said Lindsay McPherson, Senior Brand Manager at Tom's of Maine. "We wanted to partner with her to help reinforce the importance of brushing for a full two minutes and to be part of helping parents establish naturally healthy habits that can last a lifetime."

"As a mom, I always want to set an example of healthy routines so this project appealed to me," said Berkner, who recently released her newest album, "Superhero." "I've seen how powerful music can be as a way to inspire children. I hope this song helps kids stick with brushing a little bit longer because we're taking an everyday routine and making it fun."

The music video includes a longtime Tom's of Maine favorite, Silly Strawberry natural children's toothpaste alongside the new Tom's of Maine Children's Toothbrush. Tom's of Maine Silly Strawberry - specially formulated for kids ages 2 to 6 - is made with natural, great-tasting ingredients including real strawberry and other natural flavors. Silly Strawberry comes in both fluoride and fluoride-free options and contains no artificial flavors, dyes or sweeteners. The complete Tom's of Maine oral care portfolio for children also includes a fluoride-free Toddler Training Toothpaste for ages 3 to 24 months, and Wicked Cool! Toothpaste, also available in fluoride and fluoride-free options, created for children ages 8 and up.

Tom's of Maine donates 10% of profits back to helping people and the planet, including a new Green Your School partnership with DonorsChoose.org that gives $1 million directly to classrooms so students can learn about the world around them.
