Leon Larregui Concludes His Voluma Tour With A Sold Out Show In Mexico

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Leon Larregui's eight-month tour "Voluma" ended last Sunday with his 6th sold out show at the Teatro Metropolitan in Mexico in less than a year. The tour kicked off at Festival Pa'l Norte last April 16 and visited Mexico, Latin America and major US Cities totaling 60 shows.

In this last concert of the tour, Leon performed hits from his solo albums Solstis and Voluma such as: "Brillas", "Locos", "Tiraste a Matar", "Cero No Ser," "Femme Fatal", "Perdida Total" and "Resistolux". Over 3,000 enthusiastic fans sang all his songs, as he performed a special show and thanked the fans for their support.

With this show, Leon closes a highly successful year: In January he released the single "Locos" which debuted # 1 on iTunes, #3 Apple Music and # 5 on national radio chart. In addition, on the Spotify charts it reached # 1 Viral Mexico, # 2 Viral Global and # 3 Top 50. The video also became trending topic on Twitter its premiere day: #LeonlarreguiLocos.

Voluma remained three consecutive weeks #1 on the sales charts and 14 weeks in the Top 15 for its physical sales, and was certified Gold certification in just one month. The album that charted #1 on iTunes placed five songs in Spotify's Top Viral Mexico chart and gathered over 8,000 fans during two in-stores.

Leon has also been featured on mainstream's most relevant media and was the cover of the prestigious magazine Warp in May and Hombre Vogue this month. He was nominated at the MTV MIAU Mexico 2016 for Best New Artist and Best Video for "Locos".
