New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Fans of All Is Bright, the Amazon
Music Original playlist, have something to smile about this holiday season.
Today, December 2, listener favorite All Is Bright was expanded with seven original and classic recordings for a fresh take on holiday music. These new tracks come from artists like the talented Lera Lynn, Paper Bird, and
Hannah Georgas are now available exclusively for streaming on Amazon
Music - both on Amazon
Music Unlimited and Prime Music.
"This is one of our favorite Christmas songs," said Paper Bird, in regards to recording their version of the classic, "Merry Christmas, Baby." "Otis and his band could do no wrong, and when he sang it, even drenched with sleigh bells, it had soul, it had heart, it had cheer. With Otis Redding around, Christmas must have been a party. Pass around the eggnog. Merry Christmas, baby."
"When I was brainstorming Christmas songs to sing," reflected
Hannah Georgas on her new recording for All Is Bright, "my friend showed me Donny Hathaway's 'This Christmas.' I've listened to it in the past but really fell love with it. I wouldn't have thought to cover it if it wasn't for my friend reintroducing it to me. I love all of the horn arrangements and great chord changes in the chorus. I wanted to keep it close to Donny Hathaway's version because it's so great."
There's little else that say "the holidays" quite like festive music of the season, and this year's crop of artists are proud to bring you recordings to kick-off the holiday cheer.
