NYC Soul singer Bobby Harden Releases Stellar CD 'Soul Purpose'

Harden grew up in Youngstown, Ohio and began singing in church at age thirteen. He formed Nyota Records as an outlet for his growing calling to perform his own and others' roots-based, pure soulful music. He later moved to New York City in 1989 and has been a staple of the music scene there. Harden has shared the stage with Solomon Burke, Howard Tate, Ben E. King and the Uptown Horns.

Harden is currently on a winter 2005 "Soul Purpose" tour with regular performances at Penang in NYC.
Also, he is performing as guest singer with George Papa George band at Smoke in NYC on Wednesday nights from 6:30pm-9:00pm. Harden also performs at the prestigious Author's Tavern in Greenwich Village in Manhattan.
